Resilience Acupuncture
Traditional Eastern Medicine for Modern Western Culture
Regular acupuncture sessions help keep us healthy and balanced so we can live our best lives without the overwhelm of anxiety, stress, pain, and fatigue.

Acupuncture is one of the oldest natural healing practices, used by millions of people around the world. It became more popular in the United States in the 1970s and is now being integrated into hospitals and medical practices across the country.

Some research suggests acupuncture stimulates the central nervous system, setting off a cascade of hormones and neurotransmitters that help the body heal itself. It can take us out of fight or flight response by engaging our parasympathetic nervous system. Pain-relieving substances like opioids may be released during treatment as well. While acupuncture is often associated with pain relief and stress relief, it can do so much more. According to the World Health Organization acupuncture is recognized as a supportive treatment for:

It's important to me that people feel safe and welcome in my clinic. I strive to create safe space. I practice feminist, body positive, and LBGTQ/trans-informed care. I honor gender self-determination and celebrate it. I understand the importanced of trauma informed care, especially in this tumultuous and triggering political climate.

I am committed to social and environmental justice and I believe all people deserve quality, accessible, and affordable healthcare. I was raised in a working class family in a rustbelt town in Michigan. I have seen first hand how inequity can affect mental, physical, and spiritual health. I am committed to offering accessible care. Income based sliding scale pricing structure for acupuncture sessions is possible, if needed.
